Tours and Services
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow- mindedness.”– Mark Twain
Have somewhere you want to go? Let me be your guide. I offer and personally lead organized package tours and personalized individual tours. I’ve been to most places in the world and love sharing them again with others. I love watching people’s first experiences of the Pyramids, sunrise over the Ganges, or zip-lining through trees in a rainforest. Their faces look like they’re going to burst because they’re so excited. Travel offers opportunities to learn about yourself as well as other cultures. I try to show people how to see the world through the eyes of others, and to make sure that travel helps people to grow. I’m currently offering the following trips:
Bali Explorer: 9 days. $999 (excluding airfare)
Take your time to explore the beautiful island of Bali. It’s meant to be a place to get lost. Starting in the rice fields and yoga studios of Ubud, you’ll visit the dolphins for sunrise in Lovina, cycle through villages, see the Mt Batur, an active volcano, and visit Uluwatu temple and surf break for Bali’s most stunning sunset.
Bali and Lombok Expedition: 15 days. $1600(excluding airfare to Bali).
You came all the way here and you want to see it all. This trip explores the beauty and culture of Bali and it’s nearby neighbor Lombok. We will visit the sites of the Bali Explorer tour, and add 6 days of exploring Lombok. You’ll cross the ocean by ferry, take in sunset on the majestic cliffs of Kuta, visit towering Mt. Rinjani, hike to waterfalls, before ending in the Gili Islands for some well deserved beach R&R.
Bali and a Taste of Java: 14 days. $1600(excluding airfare to Bali).
Bali is the main attraction. Next door? Java, the world’s most populous island. You have to see it to believe it. We will visit the sites of the Bali Explorer tour, and fly to Jogjakarta. Jogja is packed with culture, rides in beceks, and a visit to batik shops. It is also our base to explore the World Heritage sites of Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist temple, and Parmbanan, an ancient Hindu site. Then we’ll visit Solo, Java’s cultural capital, before flying back to Bali.
I also have several services I offer to help people with their travel planning.
WTD Travel Consulting.
Need help planning a trip you want to take? Don’t know how to do it or where to go? No problem! There’s a great chance I’ve already been there and can help you decide how to do your trip. I put together an overview of the places you are interested in including: costs, how easy it is to travel there, airline flight availability, the top sights, and of course my opinion on the place itself. I also can give advice on finances abroad and the things you might need to pack. It’s a great way to take the worry out of planning your vacation.
